About Us

We are pleased to introduce ourselves as a non-profit organisation dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and propagation of Indian classical music. Our foundation was born from a deep reverence for our rich cultural heritage and a desire to support the talented artists who keep this tradition alive.

At SURANTARGAT, we focus on three core missions:

Empowering Artists:

We provide financial, logistical, and promotional support to emerging and established classical musicians, enabling them to continue their artistic journey with dignity and passion.

Educating the Underprivileged:

Believing that talent knows no boundaries, we offer free music education and mentorship to underprivileged children who show interest in learning Indian classical music. Through this, we aim to give them a platform to nurture their potential and change their future through the power of music.

Connecting Culture with Community:

We regularly organise classical music concerts, baithaks, and public outreach events to bring Indian classical music closer to people of all ages and backgrounds. Our performances are not just musical experiences—they are efforts to rekindle the cultural connection and inspire a new generation of listeners.

We would be honored to collaborate, connect, or share more about our work with individuals and organisations who value and support the arts. Whether you are an artist, patron, educator, or simply someone who cherishes Indian heritage, we welcome you to join us in this journey.

Our Mission

To preserve and promote Indian classical music by supporting artists, nurturing young talent—especially from underprivileged backgrounds—and creating opportunities for the public to engage with this timeless art form through education, performance, and community outreach.
